"Run After To" is one of the most underrated italian Heavy/Doom Metal bands , formed in Pesaro ,the same city that gave gold years to the mighty Paul Chain and Death SS.
The project begun its life in 1983 , they published a selfproduced demotape "Gjinn e Djinn" (1985) and a selftitled vinyl EP (1988) under Minotauro Records..

The american label "Shadow Kingdom Records" is proud to propose an awesome CD compilation collecting the EP tracks plus the almost unknown demo' songs...
The songs are re-mastered and put together on 1 CD along with some amazing band photos and a complete biography.
The release is official and authorized by the band's members.

BRETUS - some NEWS from the calabrian masters of doom

The stoner/doom metal band "Bretus" is starting the recording session of the new song "The Haunter Of The Dark", it will be an anticipation of the sound of the upcoming full length.
However, that song will not appear on the new album's tracklist, they will begin to work on it during the next year.

In the meanwhile,very soon ,we will got a vinyl version of "In Onirica" issued by Blood Rock Records.

Deadly Sin Records is proud to present an exclusive limited edition of only 500 hand-numbered copies , of "The Cursed Show" Death SS on DVD format.
The famous home video " The Cursed Show" was originally released (1993) in VHS by the label Contempo (using the monicker"Sylvester 's Death") and it's currently out of print .
In this reissue the cult videos were restored with the addition of over 100 minutes of special features ( video clips , tv interview , photo gallery , the documentary "The Third Seal secrets revealed " , and much more !) and subtitled in Italian and English.
The DVD Deluxe Edition (Limited to 100 copies) comes with a poster of the '"Heavy Demons Tour 1992" with the monicker "Sylvester 's Death" !

I Firelord sono una Stoner/Doom metal band torinese formatasi nel 2007 dalle ceneri di un altro progetto "Saint Judas" e dopo diversi cambi di line up (per ultimo l'ingresso del bassista "Mario Pappano") , giungono al loro primo full length "Among The Snakes" compiendo un riguardevole salto di qualità rispetto al loro precedente "The Burning Ep".
Tale miglioramento consiste in una maggiore attenzione nella registrazione dei brani e in una alternanza tra sonorità stoner e doom metal che rende il loro prodotto al contempo variegato ed omogeneo acquisendo la potenzialità di poter catturare l'attenzione di un pubblico piu ampio.
La tematica centrale dell' album riguarda le paure che spingono l'essere umano a rinchiudersi in se stesso isolandosi dal mondo esterno (mondo esterno metaforicamente inteso come un covo di serpenti)
La base stilistica dei Firelord si basa principalmente sulla scena Stoner/Doom americana con particolare riferimento all'eccellente panorama musicale di Maryland , aggiungendo pero un attitudine stoner dalle tinte acide e desertiche.
L'intro "Among The Snakes" introduce l'ascoltatore in un clima cupo e maestoso dominato dal sinistro sibilio di serpenti a sonagli, segue poi la track "Man Of Mayhem" con il suo riffing adrenalico che si pone squisitamente in contrapposizione con il doom decadente dell'intro.
La successiva accattivante "Balck Kommander" alimenta su sonorità stoner la carica adrenalinica della band accompagnata dalla voce graffiante di Mario Bussini che con assoli di chitarra psichedelici dona al brano un sapore "vintage".
"The Ghost Of Eymerich" è il brano piu interessante dell'album, una talentuosa e decadente immersione nel granitico sound dei Trouble e dei Texani "Las Cruces" dalla quale tuttavia emerge un interpretazione personale e competente.
"The Road To Hell" è il classico brano da "heaadbanging", una fusione tra tinte psichedeliche stoner , doom ed Hard N'Heavy,
Segue la decadente e disperata "Werewolf" forte di una carismatica componente emotiva.
Penultima track è la cover "Children Of The Grave" , un ottima prova di devozione per il "Sabba Nero" , un classico di Iommi riadattato in chiave Stoner/Doom.
L'ultimo brano "Among The Snakes II" riassume i vari aspetti stilistici emersi dall'ascolto dell'album , mostrando una considerevole capacita' dei Firelord di racchiudere in un brano diverse sfaccettature del loro sound mantenendo stabile l'equilibrio compositivo della song.
"Among The Snakes" è acquistabile in formato digitale tramite la loro pagina "bandcamp" e a breve sara disponibile in formato CD presso la band.
I Firelord sono alla ricerca di un contratto discografico e con questo full length possono proporsi con un prodotto avvincente e competitivo.

TONY TEARS - new album "VORTICE" out soon !!

Tony Tears announces the imminent arrival of the new album "Vortex" that will be released by his own label "TEARS ALCHEMY RECORDS", the album will host as vocalist "Necro Krieg" and it will be characterized by the fusion of doom, dark riffs and electronic music (.. . Amon Duul ... klaus schulze .. and 70's electronic music), a musical recipe already typical for the solo project Tony Tears.
"VORTEX" closes a mini cycle on behalf of TONY TEARS and the title also refers to this particular situation: exactly a "VORTEX" that leads to a new spiritual and musical reality.
In the meanwhile Tony Tears is working on another forthcoming album holding other musicians of the dark/metal scene of Genoa NECRO KRIEG as vocalist (HEX AND FAUST, SOUL OF ENOCH, NEITH) and REGEN GRAVES (Abysmal Grief) on bass, this new creature will be a continuous research in dark metal with more classic entries totally played by Tony and inspired by GOBLIN / SIMONETTI.
Regarding the band in which he play (SOUL OF ENOCH ...), they have the definitive master so, also that other album is ready and as soon as there will be news for this' last outing ,i will let you know...

Gli Epitaph sono attualmente la doom metal band attiva più longeva sulla scena italiana e vantano nella loro formazione ex-membri di Black Hole e Sacrilege, realtà musicali che con talento e spirito pionieristico hanno fatto da apripista per la scena dark/doom nostrana, condividendo la loro esperienza con Paul Chain Violet Theatre, Run After To, Requiem, The Black e poche altre band che all'epoca si avventuravano nel proporre questo genere musicale in un paese che forse, non era ancora pronto per ricevere e promuovere i frutti ed i sacrifici di questi artisti.
